The Sovryn Treasury Theft

Who controls Sovryn’s contracts?

This page checks which blockchain addresses can change Sovryn’s contract code or use its most powerful controls. Contracts appear first when the check traces that power to a final address other than the two public Bitocracy timelocks.

Bitocracy is Sovryn’s on-chain voting system. “Bitocracy path verified” means the listed power ends at one of its two public timelocks, which delay approved changes. A row can show that verified path while warning that another powerful role remains unresolved. A verified path does not mean a contract is safe or change the dossier’s evidence about concentrated voting power.

Power is followed to its end.

Technical verification details

Live chain reads use Rootstock’s public read-only node and one pinned block. The browser verifies chain ID 30, reads code and standard proxy storage, checks declared Sovryn proxy patterns and control getters, and checks the pinned block hash again before showing a result. Independent reads are grouped into bounded batches to avoid unnecessary requests.

Lending pools are read from getLoanPoolsList. AMM pool tokens and converters are read from the active converter registry. Blockscout is used only to scan reviewed deployer addresses from a fixed checkpoint; those results remain “Unclassified” until another record confirms they belong to Sovryn.

The strongest positive result on this page is that ownership and upgrade control resolve through Bitocracy in the checks performed. A row may also show the reviewed emergency pauser. Contract behavior, governance votes, compromised keys, hidden code paths, and future changes can still harm users.

Coverage
The confirmed inventory combines reviewed deployment records with contracts found through the live lending and AMM registries. There is no single on-chain list of every contract Sovryn has ever deployed.
Unclassified deployments
A contract created by a known deployer is a lead, not proof that it belongs to Sovryn. It stays outside confirmed totals until another source connects it to the system.
Incomplete control check
A verified owner or administrator path remains visible even when another powerful role is unresolved. Failed calls, unknown proxies, incomplete scans, changed blocks, and safety limits also remain unresolved; missing answers are never silently counted as fully resolved through Bitocracy.
Governance concentration
A valid timelock path only shows how a change is executed. It does not resolve the dossier’s evidence about concentrated voting power.
Other chains
This page checks Sovryn systems on Rootstock only. Contracts on Ethereum, BOB, BSC, and other networks are not checked or classified here.
Privacy and updates
